Credit Card

RBS have a range of credit cards to choose from. A classic card with 13 months interest free on balance transfers, and 3 months interest free on purchases, and only a 2% fee for transfers. Unfortunately you have to be earning over £10,000 per year to be eligible for this credit card. They also have some great benefits - including 20% off all online purchases from Buyagift and 15% off all purchases from Kitbag.

If you're a student the Student Mastercard is ideal - 18.9% interest, a limit of £500 and no conditions saying you have to be earning money to be eligible for this credit card! Tailored as a student credit card!

The RBS student credit card has some great perks - 25% discount when you spend £10 or more on a Lonely Planet, £5 voucher to spend at firebox.com, 20% discount on clothing and footwear in select stores at O'Neills, 30 free prints and 10% off photogifts from Snapfish and 15% off all purchases from Kitbag. Capital One Credit Card

0% interest on balance transfers with the Platinum Capital One Card until 1st May 2008! This is a fantastic offer, and this time interest free makes this one of the cheapest credit card deal available! The classic Capital One credit card is also very popular, it's fairly easy to get and with spending power of between £200 and £2500, you can get quick access to money. An interest rate of 34.9% APR means you should pay off your outstanding balance as quick as possible as it is not a cheap credit card, but the guarantee of a decision within 1 minute is a great reason for getting this card.

- HSBC have put together a great credit card here, competitive in every area with a good balance transfer free interest period, cheap to move your debt over, and a good interest rate as well.

Vanquis Credit Card

This is for all those people who have been refused credit cards by other providers due to a non-existent credit history (no credit cards etc in the past) or past credit problems.

A typical variable APR of 39.9% makes it quite an expensive credit card - but the ease of getting the card overrules this. They also provide manageable credit limits to stop you getting out of your depth and allowing you to stay in control.

Natwest
Credit Card

Natwest have a range of credit card offers to suit anybody and everybody! From 13 months interest free on balance transfers AND 3 months on purchases, as good a credit card deal as you're going to get, to a dedicated student credit card, Natwest has it all. In line with other best credit cards there is no fee. As a deal goes this is a great credit card offer and one of the best cheap balance transfers.

Although a 2.5% fee applies to balance transfers the typical APR for the balance transfer card is just 13.9% - and for the others ranges from 14.9 to 16.9% variable, depending on which credit card you apply for.

What they do offer is free text messages with your balance and reminder on when to pay your bill.. and tons of discounts on famous brands. Not bad!

Mint

Mint is offering 0 interest on balance transfers for nine months! You can extend this fantastic offer for another 8 or so months after the initial interest free period if you carry out a balance transfer in January 2007. This free balance transfer offer along with 0% interest on purchases makes this one of the cheapest credit cards on the market today. With a typical APR of 14.9% and up to 59 days interest free on purchases Mint have offered a product that is hard to refuse! You can also transfer cash directly to your bank account with their Money Transfer service - useful stuff!

Halifax

This credit card provider requires you to be over 18, have a permanent UK address, have a regular income and a good credit history - and if you meet this criteria you could be eligible for a credit card with a typical APR of just 5.9%! There are no introductory balance transfer offers or other interest free periods - the offer is simple and yet brilliant. For this credit card they also offer other standard features include online banking and no annual fee. An excellent credit card for those not interested in 0% balance transfers and just looking for the best UK credit card deals available.

Amazon

Another great free balance transfer offer from this new credit card provider. Although Amazon is more accustomed with other online business, their new credit card is incredibly competitive, both for balance transfer deals and interest free purchases. With 9 months interest free on balance transfers and 6 months interest free on purchases, Amazon are pitching in at the top of the credit card market. An APR of 15.9% - variable and great perks, including Amazon loyalty points worth £15, and points for money spent, make this a credit card deal worth getting! Remember though, there is a 2% balance transfer fee.
